This beautiful tree in my garden is a native tree from Brazil, named Canafístula or Chuva-de-Ouro (mean in English "Rain of Gold"). The Cassia ferruginea, from the family Leguminosae-Caesalpinoideae, bears the most flagrant flowers, which are arranged in hanging racemes. The flowers appear in October, November and December. Beside the Chuva-de-Ouro stands the exuberant Mango Tree.
