"La Freccia" makes me think of the World Trade Center...In fact since 9/11 when I look at Pomodoro's work of metal etched away....I have thought of 9/11.....I know his things don't have anything to do with that event, at all....but it is something about showing the bare interior sctructure---And in La Freccia, the coming apart of that structure that makes me think of this tragedy...There is such great beauty in his work...and it is so difficult to explain, isn'yt it? It is just "THERE" in all he does....I thank you so much for this Sonia....
